Overview

Responsible for the timely and accurate reconciliation of their assigned bank and all departmental documents.

Contribute to a safe work environment, through compliance with established safety guidelines, identifying potential safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate person for proper resolution.

        

Maintain a professional departmental, company and community reputation.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately account for the casino cash bankroll reconciliation items.
  • Responsible for verifying even exchanges when there is a variance.
  • Assist in performing the established duties of the front line Player Services Representative position as well as the Associate window, as needed or requested.
  • Receive return check payments.
  • Verify cashier close shift.
  • Prepare and collect funds and documentation following all Internal Controls and Casino procedures.
  • Prepare the daily bank deposits, which may consist of currency, checks, and/or coins.
  • Knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (Federal, State, Compact, etc.) and attendant regulations, as well as Company internal controls, policies and procedures.
  • Promotes departmental and company-wide promotions continually.
  • Verify that all Casino paperwork is properly prepared in accordance with the established Internal Control Standards.
  • Promotes positive Guest Relations through prompt, courteous and efficient service.
  • Assist other associates, as needed, with Player Services’ related matters.
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality in performing all aspects of their assigned responsibilities.
  • Maintain a working knowledge and stay current with the general cage procedures, policies, and Title 31 regulations and be able to implement these regulations in his/her capacity as a Player Services Representative.
  • Leads by setting a positive example to all Associates.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.

                AGE and GAMING:

21 years of age or above

Gaming property – Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED is required.  One (1) year of directly related experience.   Previous money handling experience is required (preferably in the field of banking).

TESTING:

Must score an 85% on the Basic Math Test and Data Entry Test with 3500 KPM.  Must take the required testing identified for this position.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex of documents, such as technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

 

Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least forty (40) pounds, and stand, sit, and walk for at least 100% of assigned shift.  Bending, kneeling, stooping, pushing, climb, reach, twist and pulling required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an Associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

 

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud.  When on the casino floor or other designated areas may be subjected to tobacco smoke. 

Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Associates must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
