    Responsible for ensuring retail merchandise is received accurately and correctly.

    Contribute to a safe work environment, through compliance with established safety guidelines, identifying potential safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate person for proper resolution.

            

    Maintain a professional departmental, company and community reputation.

    Responsibilities

    • Receives merchandise into receiving warehouse by checking number of versus receiving dock count.
    • Unpack merchandise, checking quantities against packing slip and the origination order.
    • Ensures that all shipments are received in good, undamaged condition.
    • Attaches the invoice to purchase order and indicates the quantity received, number of boxes, date received, invoice number, and any other pertinent information.
    • Insure merchandise is sent to the selling location or is retained in the warehouse in an orderly manner.
    • Fills restock requests for warehouse-stored merchandise in a prompt, efficient manner.
    • Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
    • Facilitates the flow of information, by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
    • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.

    Qualifications

    AGE and GAMING:

    21 years of age or above.

    Gaming property – Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    High School diploma or GED is required.

    TESTING:

    Must score 3000 KPM with 95% accuracy on 10-Key; score 3000 KPM on Data Entry, score of at least 95% or above on a Basic Math test. Must take the required testing identified for this position.

    SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    Computer literate. Previous experience in using the Stratton-Warren Purchasing and Retail Inventory Control software is preferred.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS:

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform some operations using units of American money.

    REASONING ABILITY:

    Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

     

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an Employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

     

    Essential responsibilities include lift or maneuver at least fifty (50) pounds, and standing/walking 100% of the shift. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, reach, twist, and grip throughout shift.

     

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an Associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

     

    The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. When on the casino floor or other designated areas may be subjected to tobacco smoke.

    Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Associates must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
