Directly supervises the daily activities of the assigned staff on the assigned shift.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training Associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining Associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

AGE and GAMING:
18 years of age or above. Non – Gaming property
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED is required. Must have a minimum of three (3) years of previous lifeguard experience. Must have a minimum of one (1) year/season or previous experience as either a Water Safety Lead or a similar level/type position or above in order to be considered. Licensed EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) is preferred. NASCO Lifeguard Instructor certification is preferred.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations.

Essential responsibilities include physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least fifty (50) pounds, and standing/walking 90% of the shift. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, reach, twist, and grip throughout shift.

This position is required to work outside in direct weather conditions and may perform responsibilities and/or essential functions on slippery or wet surfaces as well as exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme weather/heat
Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Associates must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
