Responsible for coordinating and maintaining all paperwork necessary to establish credit for customers.


Pearl River Resort Associates are required, on a continual basis to…


Adhere to any and all company and departmental policies, practices and procedures.


Contribute to a safe work environment, through compliance with established safety guidelines, identifying potential safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate person for proper resolution.


Maintain a professional departmental, company and community reputation.


  • Pulls credit reports from the Credit Bureau, and attaches report to credit application.
  • Posts returned checks and paid accounts to Central Credit.
  • Establishes customers in the Central Credit system.
  • Enters information on approved credit accounts into the Company’s computer system.
  • Operates the computer, fax machine and calculator in the processing of credit information.
  • Assists cashiers with any credit-related problems.
  • Accepts credit applications over the phone or by mail.
  • Files credit applications in departmental filing cabinet.
  • Processes credit information for groups and conventions.
  • Conducts credit research as needed.
  • Assists with various departmental needs (i.e. calling banks to verify cashier checks, obtaining bank ratings on applicants, etc.).
  • Answers the phone; assists customers with any credit-related problems; provides information to Central Credit as needed.
  • Ensures accuracy in cashing checks and entering information into computer.
  • Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
  • Maintains the highest degree of confidentiality.
  • Leads by setting a positive example to all employees.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record

21 years of age or above

Gaming property – Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission.



High School diploma or GED is required.



Must score a minimum of 35 WPM, on the Keyboarding test and Data Entry Test with 3000 KPM and 10-Key with 3000 KPH.  Must take the required testing identified for this position.               



Effective communication skills required.  Must be extremely numbers-oriented and computer-literate.



Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other associates of the organization.



Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions.  Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.



The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.


Essential physical abilities are walk or stand for 50% of assigned shift, must be able to sit for extended periods of time, bending stooping, kneeling, pushing, and pulling may be required throughout shift. Must be able to lift and maneuver at least thirty (30) lbs.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud.  When on the casino floor or other designated areas may be subjected to tobacco smoke. 


Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Associates must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
